Black Onyx and Crystal Wedding Lasso in Silver

This incredible sparkling Black Onyx and Rhinestone Wedding Lasso design is new to my family of rosaries!!

The traditional Wedding Cord is also known as the Wedding Lasso or a Wedding Lazo. It is used during a Christian Catholic wedding ceremony. A figure-eight shape is placed around the neck areas of the bride and groom after they have made their wedding vows...showing the couple's love has no beginning or end. The number eight in the Bible is also the number of new beginnings.

This Lasso symbolizes a lifetime of unity or the everlasting union of the bride and groom. It also symbolizes the union of two into one in Christ and His Blessed Mother. While this tradition has it's roots in the Mexican, Filipino and Spanish descent, this tradition is sweeping into wedding ceremonies across the world. It has been welcomed into the wedding ceremonies of Roman Catholic churches throughout the USA in place of the Unity Candle.

I created this design using gorgeous natural black Onyx with rhinestone clear crystals, 10mm round for the Aves and 12mm round for the Paters. Surrounding each Pater is a pair of Swarovski silver clear crystal Rondelles and Swarovski 4mm clear round beads. To create the necessary length, I added sterling silver chain between each decade. The rosary also has one 2.25" silver plated crucifix and three silver plated Miraculous Medal M centers. I have other center and crucifixes to choose from. Both center and crucifix show beautiful detail and are made in Italy.

Each individual loop measures 24" (a circumference of 48" ) plus 11" to main connecting center. So... a total measurement of 35" for each person. The lasso finishes with a center connecting drop of 13" from main center to bottom of crucifix.

The combination of classic black onyx, sparkling Swarovski crystal accents and rhinestones, along with sterling silver chain...amazing! The lasso is at incredibly elegant and will be a beautiful part of your wedding ceremony!!

As was described, each individual loop is a full rosary from beginning prayers to center to all five decades. Joining each individual rosary is a one crucifix, one set of beginning prayers and the first rosary center. The symbolism is complete...two become one in Christ rooted in His Blessed Mother!

Your wedding lasso will come to you safely tucked in an organza bag and placed in a silver gift box tied with a ribbon. A laminated prayer card listing all the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary is included to help with your prayers.
